Cassy is a proud mom to two young children, ages 3 and 4.5. She has been passionate about working with kids from an early age. While still in high school, she volunteered as a buddy for a special needs cheer team and taught preschool gymnastics classes, laying the foundation for her future in education. At just 15, she traveled to Ethiopia on a mission trip, where she worked hands-on in an orphanage supporting young children.

Since then, Cassy has gained diverse experience in childcare and education:

• Daycare settings – serving both as a classroom teacher and a cook.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – provided one-on-one support for Autistic children.
• Residential treatment facility – worked as a “counselor” supporting individuals in addiction recovery programs.

She is currently enrolled in Western Governors University, pursuing her degree in Elementary Education, with the goal of becoming a certified teacher.

Although Cassy is not a regular staff member at Vibrant Minds at this time, she may occasionally help with VIBES Kids Club or step in as needed. Her passion for children, her experience with diverse learners, and her commitment to becoming an educator remain at the heart of everything she does.
